Well what do people think about the 17th?  Still not a certain thing for me, I'd have to arrange childcare and a baby is due some time around there but I may still have a better chance of a half day that weekend.  Would rather seem more club members make it though, it's a great time.  Cast your votes!

The 17th is a home Badger game, not a good day for me. Next weekend is good for me, Sat or Sun, morning or afternoon. Although I agree fires are always better at night. 10 day forcast is looking pretty dry all week, so next weekend should be OK weather wise

The 17th or 18th would give me more time to heal a busted knee but there's still no guarantee that I'll be able to ride again by then.

Word from Greg is that Saturday afternoon the 10th is the day that works best.  He's the boss and that makes it indisputable.

Needs to be afternoon to allow a dark post-ride fire.....which he said is cool.

So, what time do we roll?

3pm meet up.  Ride.  Then roast and toast???

Sucks for me as I'm committed during that time but oh well.  This is a great event that must go on.  Now go out and promote!!!

Someone had a really nice picture last year ( I think our fearless leader).  Can someone please post it up?

What is this trail like?  Is it technical or a average ride.  I still haven't made it out to any of the trails this year and am wondering if I can make this if I would be way over my head?

    Scribble,

The farm is technical but not daunting.  If you haven't been there, or made it out much this year, I would definitely say you should give it a shot!

Even if you struggle with portions there will be a big group which will slow the pace down and ensure that you are always riding with others!

Don't miss this one!  It's going to be a fun fun fun ride.

I'm secretively hoping you will get rained on and would have to change the date. Maybe to Monday or next weekend.
Think about it - it's way more fun to ride it in dry conditions. :)

we did but only slitly. so that was good.

i bailed out cus i was carrying a bag load of overdressed clothing and had a full facer on my head...way overkill for this place...

but the farm seriously beats blue mound. there is like way less climbing and way more nice descends. not to say they are super legit, but still nice.

I do wish the trail buildling methods could vary a bit though, after a while it gets boring.

it's just going up and down valley hill sides mostly. i wouuld have to feel the trail again but that's my initial opinion. felt that it's just not perfect as a woody trail system. Maybe it's cus I was used to all the rocks spicing things up a bit in blue mounds.

still i cannot go there on bike regularly , if at all. I would much rather go to blue mounds before, but i just don't have a handful of free weekends and i feel like i am getting old when i ride single tracks...and my back hurts when i ride xc no idea why. I seriously need some self therapy/yoga/whatnot.

    good chili!!!!!
