    Soooo....
Back to my original question, "do we want to do something together as a club or just hook up with a bunch of other fat bastards at the kettles"?

Last I've seen, there is NOT going to be free beer at the kettles :'(. Just a grill to cook on and potluck and bring your own beverage.

Maybe Chuck is on to something. Build trails, Ride, Eat, Drink, and Be Merry (at Cam-Rock of course)

OK I am out of it enough to just realize that this is coming up THIS Saturday. This is getting my vote. Times 10 if I could  ;)

Jeff at CamRock Sport has pledged a free Ale Asylum to anyone who comes out for a ride this Saturday afternoon/night :D
CamRock Sport is holding the First Ever CamRock Fire Festival this Saturday. Check out everything going on here: http://camrocksport.com/first-annual-camrock-fire-festival-2/ Ale Asylum tasting. Tons of specials going on. a full schedule of stuff going on all day. And of course FIRE 8)

The group ride has fallen by the wayside with the work to get the new trail in. I say lets get the group ride going again this Saturday. 3:30p for the first round. If folks want to do a night ride later we can go for round two.

The only question left is if we should let those poor souls without fat bikes to ride in our presence :-*

I think starting a ride at 3:30 is way to late. It's getting dark at 4:30. Would rather see a group ride start at say 2ish.
How about building trail until 1. Break for an hour to get a bite to eat and then ride and then party.
My 2 cents worth. What do other people think?

The only question left is if we should let those poor souls without fat bikes to ride in our presence :-*

They will be required to stay 50 feet behind us  ;D

Or 50 feet ahead, which is much more likely!

    Rain chance for Saturday.

    Otherwise, I'm in!

If I can align some stars and planets I'll be there.  I'm saving a key childcare card for the year end meeting Dec 8th though.
If my rear tire makes it in time I'll bring a fatbike.

We gonna re-do fatbike day properly when the snow comes?  Fatbikes hate global warming.  I'm getting tired of waiting....

I believe titanium has fairly low conductivity so not great.
Actually geometrically very similar to my 29ers with the low top tube and long post....

Nice steed Scott! Lot's of 9:ZERO:7's popping up. I feel like I started a trend, Or am at the front of a wave. Or something ???

Is that set up with a Bud front and Nate rear? You have the rear name magically hidden behind your chainstay. What rims are you running?

Thanks Chuck.  10-4 on the tires.  Really built it just for snow riding so we went aggressive as hell on the tires.  We tried a Lou in the back but it didn't fit.
On just vanilla undrilled rolling darryls.  So far I've only rolled it around the park behind my house.
And yeah, I was at backyard bikes a few weeks ago - and they have become a 9zero7 dealer, apparently they are building LOTS of them for people.

Don't wait for snow Scott. Get out on that bad boy and ride it! Super stiff frame. Climbs like a beast. For the first time in a decade I find myself getting out of the saddle and hammering climbs. Forgot what that was like!
The biggest thing to learn is that tire pressure is everything. Get a good gauge. A one pound adjustment will make a huge handling change. I have played with everything from 5 to 12 pounds. Rock crawling is great at 5 psi. Hard pack trail best at 11. More psi is faster, but harsher and you start to get bounce. YMMV with tire pressure. I carry a pretty big fuel tank :-[
