Part of a note I sent to Dane County Parks today:
"The 1.7 miles of Creekside Connector trail is complete. This winter you can hike, bike or snowshoe the entire way from Rockdale to Cambridge on singletrack, or natural surface, trail. In total 10 miles of singletrack trail. The shortest route between Rockdale and Cambridge is about 4 miles on the singletrack one-way. The groomed ski trail is only crossed in two places. Additionally two bridges are crossed together, but they are not groomed for classic skiing.
I really feel this new trail is a great addition to the park. The amount of positive comments from hikers, dog walkers, trail runners, and folks out practicing their snowshoeing has been very encouraging.

The trail is finally ready to ride in all conditions. There are definitely some small tweaks that could be done to make it a better experience for all of us riders this winter if a person has a free hour or two. Minor bench cutting, signs, blowing the trail off. Just let me or Jeff at CamRock Sport know and we will get you going. I am running a major deficit in the brownie points at the Hutchens' Haus, so any help is greatly appreciated
