Sweet! Unofficially, I've measured 20 inches so far.

5 miles tootling around the east side had never been so fun. Also, I can now say that I have changed a flat tire in a blizzard.

Hmmm, might PV be groomed tomorrow?

If the wind drops off tomorrow, you can bet on it.  Might it PV saturday morning - skate.  Mike, heard the city rolled Odana this morning, might be solid for good tracks after tomorrows work.

After I got the kids to bed and cleared enough driveway to be able to make an emergency exit, I managed to go ride around the neighborhood.  3psi bud 5psi nate.  Very fun, realized a whole new world of bike handling skills, gear management, tire pressure optimization awaits.  Also disillusioned wrt snow bike just riding through any old snow, found snow deep enough to sink into impossible to start riding in.  Still fun as hell.  As you can see by the top of my mailbox sticking out, I will be digging out my sidewalk for hours tomorrow instead of riding, it's drifted in deeper than the fatbike. Saturday.  And I'm game for starting at CR Sport instead of CR III, that sounds like a WAY better idea in snow for about 12 reasons.
What size is your frame?  Since we are of similar build it will be easy to compare

Scott I am riding a small. I think yours is the same? I am trying hard to make it tomorrow. A lot of work to get done today to make that happen. Still trying to get dug out.

Ugh, moving this stuff around is a pain, I really wanted to get out for a night ride around the city but after 4 hours of snow blowing and shoveling it wasn't going to happen.  I'm resting up for saturday now.

Some more photos of bikes not being ridden for Mike if I knew how to upload a video I could actually show Josh blasting through about 16" of snow in the prairie. Pretty boss!
