Start Spring Break out right. Meet at CamRock Sport at 8a for an awesome ride!

The trails are bomber if you get out early before they thaw. There were places I was riding this am on 2' of snow and only sinking in 1/4". I was flying down the field above Bur Oak just because I could. Tons of fun. Lets get out and get the goods while they are good. You don't get conditions like this very often.

Plan is to ride until the trails soften. Prolly about 9:30. Then stick to Expert Woods and Creekside as they are packed. Don't have to dress very warm if it is sunny again tomorrow.

Post up if you are heading out!

I cant ride tomorrow AM but have a sitter coming so I can ride in PM.  Was just planning a road ride but....
Based on what you're seeing Chuck, how much will be rideable in the afternoon with temps in mid-30s?

Ok so I was trying to get this up quick before the Badger game. Oops. At least we have one team still in it. Hockey for those without a clue.
So meet at CamRock Sport at 8a tomorrow. Trails will be bomber up to about 9:30a. Who is in?
As for later: The packed trails should be good all day. That would be Creekside, the new trail, and Veritas. There will be a couple of short sections on Creekside that are bare you will need to bypass. They will be mud even at 20 degrees.

Solid enough for "skinnies" if I get out in the morning?  I have ridden a couple times through the winter at BM and CR, mostly successfully, but suspect that mountain biking is coming to an end for a month or two, so I want to cram some in.

Might be OK on skinnies for Creekside. Questionable for Expert Woods. I really doubt you can ride any of the prairie Connector. I guess we will see how it goes.
