I didn't see this mentioned here but also didn't look thoroughly.  Camrock Cafe has been bought and will open (hopefully) by Thanksgiving.

What does the weather look like in Cambridge (Precipitation-wise)?? It's a nasty mix of rain and sleet here in Cottage Grove, it looks rather wet....

It just started here, but the same is going on. Mostly just drizzle right now. Scratch that, it just switched to snow. But not a day it is going to dry either, and we need to get the leaves blown off the trails. I am actually wondering if it is going to be cool enough to freeze by ride time. But with the ground still being warm I have my doubts on that.
Either way I am at me home office today. I will try and make the call by the end of the noon hour.

Yuppers I saw it as well. Got out on the Outback just as dark came last night. The boardwalk rides great! Nice job guys.
The tree is right after the berm at the top of downhill line that leads down to the berm and gap jump. A good spot in the open and not dangerous. I can try and get out there once the weather improves. I don't want to get stuck back there.

OK I have to call it. I just checked the trails and they can best be described as slop. The snow that fell is still melting. Though colder weather is coming, I can't imagine freezing ground before 6p tonight.
I would expect a different story by tomorrow morning. It should be frozen ground goodness by then. But plan to be off the trails by 9a for sure as I imagine the slop will return until nightfall.

Janet gets to drive the truck, at least on weekdays. I get the ANI-van (ANIMART minivan).
Unless I was going to head out tonight and get it. But I have never tried chainsawing in the dark and don't plan on starting tonight. I don't want to be on America's dumbest videos for pulling a stunt like that.

Man this weather is really bumming me out! A couple weeks in a row of crud weather for Monday night. Not cold enough to freeze the trails, so all we have is muddy trails.

I think I can confidently say this week is out again. With that amount of rain no way the trails will be dry in the next 24 hours. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a change by next week.

OK I am very optimistic that we will be riding this Monday Night! If this weather forecast holds we should have our first true winter ride of the year! Predictions are for an inch of snow tomorrow, clearing in the afternoon, and getting cool enough to freeze things up nicely by ride time tomorrow. I for one have my fingers crossed for a bit of snow tomorrow. Nothing like a blanket of white to make for a special ride. If you have never ridden in the snow with lights you are missing a real treat. It is truly magical.
Same time same place. Meet at the Kenseth garage (301 Water Street, Cambridge)at the usual 6p. I can't promise a warm place for after the ride. But we all know there is beer in the fridge ;-) We actually do have a fire ring if someone was inclined to bring wood to fire it up!
And a little birdie has told me that there just may be a place to warm up for next weeks Monday Night Ride.....

You will be just fine with this amount of snow. We have 2-3" on the ground so far and it is tapering off. Riding in the snow is a blast. I am stoked to get out and ride in it tonight. And it's not even going to be cold. Forecast is 27 degrees at ride time tonight. Nice and balmy ;)
    See you there!
