......Is there gonna be some riders looking to push the pace?

    I'll try to hang.

I will be there and angry...whether that means I can hang with the fast group or have a night of repeated epic fails remains to be seen.

Will the trails be open for tonight what with the rain yesterday?

Taking a guess, but they should be good to go. We did not get a lot last night.

The more the merrier. The new sections need rubber on them!

Bonner you started this thread. Can you change the title to "Monday Night no-drop Group Ride, 6p, CamRock Sport"? I don't have permission. I thought it might make it clearer...now that we are a few weeks into the season ;)

The trails are in great shape except for needing some top level trimming.  I rode the elite course this morning. I would hate to have to do that three laps while racing. Of course I am carrying around a extra dead bodies worth of old guy bad eating habits. I'm going back over tomorrow to mow the area near CR3 that I cut last week. You get whipped pretty good in some of the sections. Maybe it was just the early morning dew on the grass.

You don't want to miss the ride tonight. Free beer to whomever brings in some trash off the trail from the race yesterday. A growler to whomever brings the most in :)
And on top of that....with the amazing amount of prep work put in over the last couple of weeks, and with a couple thousand wheels on the trails yesterday alone, the trail are amazing right now! You will never see them in better shape. Perfectly buffed, fast, and fun to really rail on 8) Get our there and ride them before the prairie starts growing back in.

Believe it or not, Flash Flood Watch and all, the ride is on for tonight :) I did a short scouting ride this am and the trail is in pretty good shape.
A few small puddles on Connector where we did not get the turn debermed this spring. Turn It Up, Rattlesnake and Corkscrew are in the best shape. Beaver Hole bridge (Creekside) is underwater again. Outback is a swamp.
If the rain stays away it should be a good, steamy, ride tonight :P

Great ride last night! It was a small group, but a really fun one! I think folks are getting depressed. It is dark like winter around here :(
BTW: we are being invaded. We need to secure the borders ;) We had two Iowegian's at the ride. And they did not know each other! What are the odds of that?
All in all a good and very sweaty ride. About 1100% humidity made it feel a lot hotter than it was.
Glad to get a ride in while the trails were still rideable.
Small group. Fun ride. Good BS on the trail. Really short stay afterward. It was one brewski and hit the road for everyone.

Today is the first Monday night of the season/year that I'm able to make it. I'm also guessing the trails are still closed, but it was nice yesterday and seems nice today. Has anyone made it out there to see how things are coming along?
