    Hey Chuck
I have a portable fire pit on legs you can have if you want it for the CORP garage. Don't know if you recall, but it's the one I had at PBST a couple times. We have a the built in one at the patio so I don't need this one.

Greg that would be perfect! Lets figure out a way to get it out this direction.

Since the Cafe' closed are there any plans on keeping around the group ride going? If it stays dry for the rest of the day I'll probably be out there for a lap or two tonight.

Heck yeah! See the posts above. We have not stopped doing the Monday Night thing. We just moved the start/stop location kitty-corner across the street and across the creek. Start at 6a, 301 W Water Street. This is the property at the gravel trailhead. County owns it. CORP gets the garage for all of our tools and equipment storage. The house will be converted to a parking lot when the county gets around to it.
There is a beer fridge to keep 'em cold whilst we ride, so BYOB. Also lights, a radio, grill, everything but the kitchen sink ;) Might be a good idea to bring a camping chair if you want to sit while you drink. Or you can stand around and BS if you prefer. There is a shelter with heated bathrooms and water access across the street if you need to change and/or use the facilities.
    Hope to see you there!

I might try to get out there.  Have plans to have a beer with someone but I'd rather ride and have a beer with you guys.  6PM will be tight for me.  What's the riding route in case I need to catch you guys?

Usual ride is to take both creekside trails to the bench next to the bridge/gravel path at the end of veritas; then ride connector to roundabout; then up killer climb, and the downhill, woodchuck, corkscrew, and up to the shelter at CRII for a short break.   Then, down beer run to Mayor's Meander, connecter to IMBA influence, outback and then take the creekside trails back.  If there is time and interest, we sometimes finish outback and then do a short loop back to IMBA influence to do Veritas before heading back on creekside.

Earlier in this thread, there were a few passing references to Camroc Cafe & Sport being closed.  What does "closed" mean?  I can't figure out from the context whether it it means they just cut-back hours and are no longer available on Monday evenings or if they actually ceased operating.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Closed as in no longer in business.

There is a thread on here announcing that the business was up for sale. A few days later, they called it quits.

Monday was another spectacular fall Monday Night Ride. By my count 13 of us out to enjoy the evening and the trails.
The Big Mama got a new set of shoes (Thanks again Nate!). That are working awesome and add some stiffness to that steed.
We had enough for a rabbit group to take off. There were enough for a few foxes chasing as well.
The rest of us took in the scenery a bit more. And stopped more often to "re-group". Once we did that for a bit Tim would just ride off! He would not say anything. He would just ride away. I think being a new daddy and no sleep is getting to him ;) We did not want him to get disoriented and wander around the woods all night alone, so we would follow him.
Some good beverages and BS back at the CORP Garage afterward as well. I would have loved to stick around longer but that dang alarm going off at 3:15 was nagging.
Lets hope for more awesome fall riding! It is almost like Mother Nature is trying to pay us back for the cold and wet spring and early summer. Thanks Mama!
