in Group Rides, Bike Trips, and Events

Doh! Totally missed it. My bad. With the holidays I hardly know what way is up. I spaced that it is Monday.
I will prolly be out of town next Monday as well.

I think I can say for everyone's health and wellbeing I am calling off the ride this Monday Night. With a forecast of -14 and a windchill predicted at -38 for the ride start time I doubt to many folks are waiting to saddle up. Unless you are preparing the the Iditarod Trail Invitational, in which case these are good temps to train in.

Too bad as the trails as of my last ride on Friday were in really great shape. A good workout and ride for the entire system. I would expect they got a little soft from the warmth on Saturday. But I bet they are firm again now

Kevin and I rode Sat night and trails were fantastic.   Some areas at the top and west side of the trails could not be ridden due to drifting snow, but otherwise everything was great.  AMAZING traction on all the climbs.  hit it at the end of the week for sure.

Looks like the first great weather for a Monday Night Ride in a long time. From the reports yesterday the trails should be in perfect shape.
I hope some folks are planning on coming out. I will see if Derek of CamRock Sport can make it as well. If not I am sure he will be around the shop afterward and folks who have not had the chance will get to meet him.

Will CR still be rideable with all the melt we have had this wekeend and today?  If so, I will try to make it.  Have to show off the new steed.

Great ride last night.  Trail was packed solid, icy in a few spots.  We did creekside, the conenctor both ways and Veritas.   Legs are jello today.

Ditto here. A great ride. Nice to see your new ride Tim! Also nice of Derek, though CamRock Sport closes at 7p, to stick around and keep the beer cooler open for us afterward

It should be another good one tonight. Temps will be a nice brisk winter temp. The trails are in great shape. Perfect winter conditions.
