in CamRock (Moderator: TheMayor1)

Have yet to get out.  It misted here most of the morning and things are pretty soaked.

I'm going to weed or mow depending on the conditions today. I'll have assorted equipment in the truck if anyone wants to join the party. I will be parking at exit of veritable near the bridge. Should be to garage by 9 am.

I also have a full bed of the truck with CORP Stuff. Tables, cooler, big bins, clean hose for human use, 10x10 tent, plus race bin, and some original XL 2011 Battle of CamRock t-shirts. My garage looks empty now.

Mowed upper field and outside singletrack. Opened connection from field parking lot to the expert climb through the cornfield so Josh and Duane can take the ditchwitch through. Expert climb both roundabouts are mowed. Return from bottom of Rip n ride to round about. Connector from Round about to Veritas is mowed. Exit of Veritas to Entrance of Veritas is mowed.

We need to mow Veritas, Return connector to top of Rip n Ride, beginner downhill and parallel trail to bottom or Rip N Ride. We are going to use the cross country climb to CR3 expo area so we will now use parallel trail to beer run then go down beginner downhill before turning to go back up cross country trail climb for Elite.

I hope this makes sense. I'm seeing double. I go up to Cascade mountain tomorrow to get signs for the race. They will be in the garage in Cambridge.

PS Thom was weed wacking all day too.

Weed whacked all the wooded area from the old round about to CR3.  From CR3 parking lot,  I did the expert downhill and all along the bottom.  I also did the bottom half of the Clif-Edge loop.

Dewayne, Josh, Dave and I are working on the WORS course improvements. Bruce is currently on the DR Trimmer getting more mowing done.
We will have trimmers and mowers staged by the Roundabout all day. Come on out and lend a hand. Even an hour of help after your ride will help get this huge task completed. Just follow the sound to the Ditch Witch and you will find us. A great day to be in the parks!

Believe it or not we have a little mowing that needs to get done at CamRock. Basically a couple of small areas that were not included in the race, but are a pain to ride without a trim. If you have an hour or so to come out, even before or after a ride, let me know and we will hook you up and steer you in the right direction.

I think I posted on BC that the DR is down until I get out there tonight with the new bracket. I plan to use tonight to do a little more prep work for Saturday.
