The race is on!!
We received another 1/2" of rain last night. The trails closed this morning, but will dry quickly, and should be in great shape for the race. We will reassess at 5p for a possible evening pre-ride.
The trails are in great shape. The soil here dries very quickly, and the weather on race day is supposed to be fantastic. So expect the trails to be in fantastic shape for the race. Our caution in closing them today is more to protect some brand new trail we just put in for the race and has not had time to harden up yet. Ironically this trail was delayed in getting installed by our very wet and cold spring.
So check in later today if you want to pre-ride. And plan to get out here tomorrow. it is going to be a great day of racing
