in CamRock (Moderator: TheMayor1)

Hi everyone,

Probably a real long shot, but I lost my Garmin Forerunner 205 Tuesday night at Cam Rock (the first time it has ever come off its bike mount in over a year) 

I'm not exactly sure where it popped off, but I have a feeling it was coming down the descent into Rip-n-Ride. A buddy and I searched for almost an hour with no luck. I'm guessing it's off in the grass/weeds somewhere.

Again, probably a long shot, but if by chance someone runs across it, please post up here or shoot me a PM.

Looks like this (but not attached to an arm) 

In a one in a million, needle in a haystack miracle.....I actually FOUND my Garmin tonight!!!! 

I was taking a slow/easy lap and happened to look down, and there it was, face down right on the edge of the trail (right before The Connector, which is totally not where I thought I'd lost it).

It started up just fine, and even downloaded my ride from that night!

I may have used up a huge supply of good luck with this find, but I am happy none the less! 

I cobbled together a quick connect lanyard to prevent future mishaps.
