Today:
-I spoke with Kevin Swenson about the possibility of opening the trails tomorrow. It it doesn't rain tonight or tomorrow morning, very probably they will.
-I fixed the broken Blue Mounds power hedge trimmer. Good thing, 'cause I broke it, at least in the sense that some screws fell out when I was using it..
-Many, many weeds died today (hopefully few nice plants died). Holy Schist is now open from end to end.
-Thanks to Gary, the deadfall is gone from Holy Schist. Also from the beginner section, and Over Lode.
-The current wood shed will be replaced this fall. Very probably the old wood shed will be given to CORP to use as a tool shed. This could mean I will have a way to get tools into the hands of people who want to help maintain the trails. Instead of the current situation where we beg for help, then have to say, "Sorry! There's no practical way to get anything to you to work with."
