What kinda riding normally happens, riding on the cross country trails or dirt jump sessions?

Most of the time it will probably be cruising around the park hitting things along the way.  I'm personally relearning how to get off the ground again but if a couple people show up and want to session jumps then have at it.  We have a plan to link together all the existing lines that flow/pump well into a single long loop, I'd like to spend a little time working on that each night so even if you don't ride much with the group it's helpful to have more hands show up.  Bring a shovel and wheelbarrow if you can!

Probably a spade at this point, we'll be doing more moving than sculpting.

Another small but fun group out at QP this week. A newcomer to the riding and the forum, Adam, came out to get a tour of the park and held his own real for a relative beginner to the sport.  Another couple, Jess and Josh, who live in the neighborhood happened to be exploring the park so they hopped on for the tour and we had a good time tooling around.  It's always fun to show folks around the park who haven't been there because it can be a real eye opener for them on how much trail there is, and conversely they don't have an ingrained sense of the trails so they always show me a new way to look at the trail.  Jess was fond of taking the newish jump/pump line backwards, which I had never considered and it was a fun new twist.

I scouted and cleared brush for the planned Grande Pump line where the roller coaster and pump track will connect.  I also got started moving dirt to turn the stone wall into a wall ride which will be a part of Grande Pump and make looping around to the table top a little easier. Admittedly it's a bit of trail sanitization but that spot was eroding away pretty badly and I think the new layout will handle water better once it's finished.

You ran into the Giffey's?  I didn't think they rode anymore. Maybe the 6 pack challenge will return next spring.........

It was great to meet some people around the sport last night and for Rich to show me how and where the good riding is done!!! I ended up with a pinch flat and a few scars LOL after you left Rich but I learned speed was my friend in that case . Aside from that I hit some of the stuff we rode and was better the second and third time around!! I'll heal up , pad up and be out again!!

Here are the flat pedals I was riding, hunt around a little and you can find them cheaper but even at $50 can't beat them for the price/function/weight balance. They are very effective skin shredders so shin guards are a wise accessory go along with them.

I've got a set of generic flats, unused, I'd sell for 20 bucks.

They appear to be metal. They are stamped VP-566.
