Gotta agree and it is not expensive to rent them and like I posted previously I demoed a full suspension Trek for an entire session free other than the entry fee.

I rented a nice DJ bike there last year....and never was able to feel comfortable on it. Geometry and set up were just way too different for me. Crashed hard
Ended up spending most of the day on the fatty. Rides pretty good there. I added a lot more pressure to the tires (18 psi!) and dropped the seat. It has no suspension so it rode really well. Particularly on the pump track
I was not the only one there on a fatty either.

i think that's an excellent point too Chuck.  Part of why I want to go to Rays is to build my confidence on more technical features (its also why im KICKING my self for having been busy on the day of the C.O.R.P. skilz rides).  Seems as though i might benefit from getting comfortable with  some of this stuff on my own scooters?

There is certainly nothing wrong with riding your own steed at Rays and just getting more comfortable on features. I had a ton of fun working the pump track and jump lines on the 9:ZERO:7 fatty. It was lots of fun jumping into the foam pit as well

I plan on riding Rays this Friday during the day.

We ended up going last night. Good group came out............

If I remember correctly we had Chelsea, James, Natalie, Aaron, Jessica, Tim, Patricia, Danielle, Kai, and myself.
