Congratulations and big thanks to Dave Reece for winning the annual Walter Hougas volunteer of the year award.

Dave is a stalwart helper who does a tremendous amount of work on our trails including great work on the CORP TTF Crew that builds technical trail features at our sites.

This could not be more deserving. Dave has earned this over years of dedication to making the trails great. And he has always done it for no recognition. I think most CORPers don't even know who he is.
He just showed up. Earned the trust of the Stewards. And then started taking on all kinds of projects. Mostly on his own initiative, and often on his own. Just truly puts in a ton of behind the scenes work to make things happen. And a guy we can count on to get it done when it has to get done. He also has the vision of what will truly make the trails better for everyone.
