For me all the above is true, but it also gives you the early season base miles that rewards you the rest of the season.

While not a new rig, I'll likely be on something I've never ridden on BALLS before...likely will bring the fatty this year.

Nice. Are we going to have a full pod of fatties this year? I plant to ride mine again.

I'll be rolling out the Pugs again this year.

I believe the Wadehammer is planning on riding his too.

The only thing worse than the tought of pushing a bike through 167 miles of dirt in nasty, west, windy conditions is the thought of doing so on my 45 lb Pugs.     So, instead I am going to give it a go on my 3 speed fixed Nature Boy.
