in Group Rides, Bike Trips, and Events

Anyone see that there is a random cyclocross/mtb/fatbike race on sunday during the Madison winter fest? sounds entertaining.

Yes, I did it last year and signed up for this year as well.  very short, casual race that is a loop along one side of the Square and involves riding on snow and jumping over hay.  Last year was -15 and was still fun.  Costumes are encouraged (there was a star wars theme last year).

I am thinking of trying to round up people to maybe ride and then go for brunch. I know of a few unlimited mimosa/bloody mary spots on the square. Could be fun for families. Plus riding bikes outside lol

Cheered Devon on the first year they had this. He ended up coughing up blood at the end

Planning on it.  Haven't been on a bike or exercising in a few weeks so it may be brutal.  Tempted to take the fat bike, but I dont want to haul that over all the obstacles.
