    Blackhawk Mountain Bike Trail Open House
    Sunday, June 22nd, 1-4 PM
     
    Please join us at the first annual “Blackhawk Mountain Bike Trail Open House” on Sunday, June 22nd, from 1-4 PM. This is an open house for anyone to come out to meet other riders, explore the trails, and discuss ideas for making Blackhawk a mountain bike facility for bikers of all abilities.
     
    So invite your friends and bring your family—and RSVP (see below/to help with the count for food/drink).
     
    The details:
    --Where?  Blackhawk Ski Club (7500 Blackhawk Rd)
    --Who? Anyone who’s interested in mountain biking—from beginner to experts
    --How much?
        -Free to Blackhawk members.
        -Non-members must sign a waiver and if interested, can sign up for a summer trail membership*
    --What? 
        -Open riding and guided group trail rides (beginner, intermediate, advanced, experts only)
        -Food and drink
    --The event will be postponed in the case of heavy rains

    Just to clarify, this is free for anyone.  If you have wondered about Blackhawk but have not wanted to join until you have ridden there, this is your chance.

    Check here for conditions update; BH dries out pretty quick, but it is looking like a wet week.

    Trails are likely to be a little slick, but not so wet we can't ride, so this afternoon is on.  Not sure how other places are drying out, but may be the best chance to ride dirt this weekend.
