I went up saturday all alone. Was really a nice day. I've usually just been up there for a race or it was with a group and I just followed the person in front of me. Being all alone I had to focus more on where I was and where I was going. Stopping and checking the map and watching the names of the trails made me much more aware of the whole system.
Riding at a comfortable pace and all the stopping and / or slowing down, and stopping for a little food break, I was there for a good 4.5 hrs. I estimate I did a good 30+ miles. Took a pretty good endo towards the end of the day that screwed up my bike computer so I'm not sure of excact mileage.
I hit just about everything at least once, but I know I did miss a few sections. Some of the trails that I hit twice, I did in both directions. Guess I'll have to go back to get what I missed.
Funny thing was, I wasn't really tired at all. If I didn't have that 2.5+ hr drive home I could have kept riding.
