I thought I should send out a note in light of the nasty weather today. The ride is still on for tomorrow for anyone who wants to come out and ride. We won’t be riding much, if any, singletrack, because most of the singletrack trails will need some time to dry. And this is not exactly drying weather.
This will be a good test to show what you can still do to stay in shape when the weather does not cooperate. We can still get a good workout/ride in on the gravel trails, and we can ride the grassy double track. Maybe a couple of laps around CamRock 2? Hill climbs? We will play it by ear and see what everyone wants to do.
Again, this is not a NICA or CamRock Climbers sanctioned practice. It is simply a group ride. So it is open to anyone. That also means I cannot assure parents how many adults will be riding to supervise, like we do during normal practices. Though I have a heard from a couple of others that plan on attending. And as always I will do my best to keep everyone safe. And I appreciate any adults who some out to help supervise.
Don’t forget to dress warm. We have our first taste of cool fall riding tomorrow morning. Yikes!
Ride On!
