I'd like to start the formal nomination process for the elections to be held later this fall. There are a number of positions open and some maneuvering around of existing members, and resignations will create other vacancies.
For background here is the elected board slots:
President
Vice President for Membership
Vice President for Programs and Operations
Treasurer
Secretary
The other board (many) positions are appointed by these five elected members.
Currently the positions are named and filled as follows:
President (Nelson Donovan)
Vice President for Membership (Chuck Hutchens or William Lorman)
Vice President for Programs and Operations Events (William Lorman or Chuck Hutchens)
Treasurer (Brian Donley)
Secretary (Tim Barber)
The President and Treasurer are open per the by-laws and the VP and Secretary slots will be open due to resignations or accession to other roles.
Since my term is ending and I do not intend to run again, Chuck wishes to return to the Cam Rock trail steward role, Tim is wishes a larger role, and William is willing to lead the band I would like to open the nominations for the following slate of ardent volunteers.
For President of CORP I nominate William Lorman.
For VP of Membership I nominate Jon Augspurger
For VP of Programs and Operations I nominate Tim Barber
For Treasurer I nominate Brian Donley (to continue his key contribution)
For Secretary I nominate Richard Schick Jr
This is a diverse set of viewpoints that will continue the great work of developing CORP in to an affective entity to steward our sport.
