Last week I (Dan Dacko), Bike Fed and the city of Madison parks supervisors met to discuss the cities current stance on QP as an official MTB trail system and what can be done to improve the park and try to make dog walkers (the only really other use- that is acknowledged at least) needs met.
It was a good meeting. There is a post about it on our FB page and the Bike Fed's blog. Good dialogue on what needs to be done to satisfy the city, now some homework, present to a lager group and see if we can make some magic happen at the park. Always upsides and downsides, but this could be really good. City would like to move faster to have things dialed before we all starting riding more.
