For Sale - Trek 1600 Road Bike

    March 29, 2015, 08:27 PM

For sale: 2007 Trek 1600 SLR road bike (54 cm frame). The bike is in excellent condition with about 1,500 total miles (mostly from about 14 days of RAGBRAI). It's a great road bike, but I mostly ride my other bikes off road or for commuting, so it has seen pretty minimal use.

This bike has never been crashed. There is barely a scratch on it and it looks like new. It has always been stored inside. Trek's bike archive lists all the specs: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2007/archive/trek/1600/#/us/en/archive-model/details?url=us/en/bikes/2007/archive/trek/1600

    A few highlights:

    Aluminum 54 cm frame
    carbon fork (uncut)
    700x25c bontrager tires
Shimano 105 10 speed setup with ultegra rear derailleur
    Carbon seatpost
Includes a Cateye Cadence bike computer (has a cadence meter)

I set up the bike for a competitive fit with a smaller frame and longer stem. It fits me perfectly and I'm 5'10". However, this frame could fit someone from about 5'4" up to 5'10" with adjustments to the saddle position, stem length, and adjusting the spacers on the headset. I'll put cheap pedals on it for a test ride. $650 OBO.

I also have a ~1981 Lotus Legend for sale: $275

And I'll have a late 90's GT 26" hardtail for cheap. The frame is awesome and it barely has a scratch, but the rest is worn. People used to build those frames into singlespeeds, but I have too many bikes...

How cheap could you go for the GT hardtail? Also could you possibly post a picture?

    Lotus is sold.

I won't have the Lotus back in Madison for at least a month. Only the frame is valuable. The drivetrain is pretty worn, the fork is junk from the 90s, and the wheels and other components aren't anything special.
