Please come out to Seminole trails on Wednesday June 10 at 6:30 p.m. and help CORP host an all abilities group ride. This is part of Bike Fed's "Bike Week" and is intended to get new riders to try out singletrack.  We will have a "rolling pickup" starting downtown at 5:45, and start riding at the trailhead at 6:30p.m. Additionally pickup spots at Glenway and Pacific Cycles.

    Here is the official announcement:

10 JUNE---ALL ABILITIES MTN BIKE RIDE
    Seminole Bike Trails, 6:30 pm

Celebrate Bike Week off-road!  Join the Capital Off-Road Pathfinders and the Bike Fed, and try out Dane County’s first entry level mountain bike trail!  While a dedicated mountain bike is nice, these trails can be navigated on any bike other than a skinny-tired road bike; commuters, ‘cross-bikes, hybrids, striders… bring what you have.  Sturdy shoes and a helmet for sure.  Ride out on the Southwest Bike Path, or meet at the trailhead by the roundabout (just west of the Dawley Bike Hub on the Capital City Trail).  Mellow pace and plenty of encouragement.

5:45 - W. Washington Ave. and the Southwest Trail
6:00 - Glenway St. and the Southwest Trail
6:15 - Pacific Cycle, by the Beltline Overpass
    6:30 - Hit the dirt!

I just updated the flyer with the latest version.  I am not going to have a chance to print and distribute a mess of them, so if you have a little time and are heading somewhere that seems like it could use one, feel free to print off one or two and get them out there!

We could use a few volunteers for this ride.  We have the W Washington and Glenway meet-ups covered, but we could use point people at Pacific Cycle and the trailhead.  This will be very low-key, just making sure folks know they are in the right spot, answering questions, and offering assistance if it seems needed.  If you are coming, and you should be, wear your orange CORP Crew shirt.  Let me know if you can help out; it always goes smoother with some pre-planning.

Did I mention we could use a couple volunteers?  No special skills needed, just a bike and the willingness to ride and help.
