Accessories/Backpacking Gear:
Shimano MT71 Shoes: $60
Size 42 (US 8.5) These are great shoes. Waterproof with leather and Gor-tex construction. Nice casual look, good tread and comfortable for hiking (in addition to the SPD cleats for riding). I really want to like these shoes, but I have a really wide toe box on my feet and these shoes are just not wide enough in the toes for me. They are in great shape, I’ve had them about 6 months but due the poor fit, probably only used on a dozen or so rides.
Mavic Alpine Shoes: $30
Size US 10. Aggressive enough for MTB but very walkable and looks good enough to be worn around town. Worn a couple times but too narrow in the toe for my duck-feet.
Schwinn Solar Powered light set: $10
About as useful as a solar powered flashlight. But seriously, a good cheap option for your family or friend that needs a cheap light set.
Wheel/Rims/Tires
Surly Holy Rolling Darryl 82mm fatbike rims, pair: $240
These are $180 new, plus several hours of machining on each to reduce the weight further, down to about 780 grams each. Ridden for 1.5 seasons.
Schwalbe Big Betty 26x2.4 UST tire: $20
Used for a dozen rides or so, but really, its too big for my frame. A great tire for dirt jump, endure or DH! $90 retail value.
Panaracer Urban Max 26x1.5â€: $20
Slick tire, like new.
Forte Fast City ST, 26x1.25â€: $20
Slick tire, like new.
Drivetrain Components:
Dura-Ace Bar end Shifters, 10-speed: $60
Suntour XC Pro thumb shifter (rear only): $30
like new. 7/8 speed indexed, up to 11-speed run in friction mode (which works better anyway).
Shimano Deore XT thumb shifter (rear only): $10
Aesthetically speaking, its in horrible shape with the top cap missing and the friction/index adjuster nob bent. Functionally: perfect. 7/8 speed indexed, up to 11-speed run in friction mode (which works better anyway).
Shimano Dura-Ace Bar-end shifter (front only): $20
SRAM ESP 9.0 GripShift (front only): $10

BBG Bashguard, 94BCD, 36t: $10
Frame/Fork/Bars/Stems/Grips:
1992 Ross Mt. Hood frame, 15â€: $10
A cheap place to start a commuter-bike build for a smaller rider. Includes fork, seatpost, WTB SST saddle, headset (which is shot), and some spacers. I’m not going to lie to you, it has lots of years of year-round commuting and has many dings and rust spots. A solid, quality steel frame (I want to say its Reynolds 520, but I can’t confirm that), just too small for me. Lovely yellow rattle-can paint job with reflective stickers (for safety). Too ugly to be stolen.
Ritchey WCS Trail Stem, 100mm: $60
Excellent condition, 1 season of use, just a little too long for me.
Ritchey Comp 120mm Stem: $5
Profile Designs hi-rise 120mm stem: $5
Salsa Bell Lap handlebar, 44mm: $10
Used but not used up, 7075-T6 Aluminum.
