Free handlebars and other misc items.

    August 19, 2015, 11:54 AM

I have two handle bars that are made for the smaller clamp size (not 31.6).  One is a drop bar and the other is a riser bar.  It looks like they are both chrome plated steel or stainless steel.  They are both in good shape. I am pretty sure they aren't made for mountain bikes but they should work well on a city or commuter bike.

    I also have,
3 rigid forks all of them are threaded (one with 1 1/8 headtube and the other two with 1 inch)
1 suspension fork, it is a low end rst fork with 80mm of travel, has v brake mounts and disk mounts.  It still functions but feels pretty stiff.
    1 kick stand

I obtained these items through the free section of craigslist and picked out what I need so the rest of the items are up for grabs.

i may be interested in the riser handlebars if the diameter is close enough to the ones on the bike want them for. can you please measure the diameter where the stem clamps to the bar?

I unfortunately do not have any tool to accurately measure the size of the clamp area but I would be willing to meet you at a trail head nearby if you would like to take a look.

its at blue mounds correct? i wasn't planning on attending corp fest.  i think i'm going to be busy cutting firewood on Saturday at my moms place.
i work half days on Friday, so i could easily meet you in Madison somewhere on Friday afternoon/evening; or maybe meeting in Verona (gas station by cty MM & 151) on your way to blue mounds sat morning could work too? that's a pretty easy drive for me.

I'm actually the one that left the bars on the curb - pretty sure the clamp diameter on both is 25.4 if that helps.

Those will work, the system 3 flat bars i have right now measure 15/16", so basically 1" which is what the 25.4mm comes out to.

Brett, i will plan to bring my bike and probably ride there as well since i'll be in the area. i'll shoot you a text to let you know what my timing looks like. i typically get out of work between noon and 2 pm depending how the day goes and when i actually get in in the morning.
