Quarry Ridge is expanding! We'll be adding about 0.4 miles of new trail. The new trail will be intermediate level and expand the cross country loop. The style will be similar to Rewind and Bottoms Up. We will also be rebuilding some other trails in the area as time allows.
Most of the heavy work will be done by machine, but we need volunteers to do hand finishing after the excavator. Digging will start likely on Wednesday, and volunteers are needed starting on Friday and throughout the weekend to finalize the trail. Find Jeff on the excavator for instructions. No experience necessary and tools will be provided. You should bring water, gloves, bug spray, and sunscreen.
Construction will occur October 7-9. Work will occur from roughly 8 am to 7 pm each day.
