The new climb at Pleasant View took a hit with that monster storm we had a month or so ago. There is a section of the benched trail on the new climb that is badly undercut; you might not notice as you are riding, as the damage is below the tread, but with another heavy rain or frost movement this winter, we could lose a dozen or so feet of trail that would be really difficult to repair. So in the name of preventative maintenance, we are going to build a retaining wall on Saturday, and could use some help. We will have a gator and/or a power wheelbarrow, but there will still be plenty of hand work. If you appreciate the expanded riding out there, and you have a couple hours to give, we would love to see you on Saturday; 8:00 in the parking lot, or head out to climb if you arrive late.
