Just a reminder that with the return to normal temperatures forecast for this weekend, trail conditions are going to change dramatically.
Forecast for both Friday and Saturday nights is 23 for a low. This will mean a good solid freeze of the ground, including the trails. Most areas will turn to mush once this gets any sun or thaws, prolly by about 8a. My prediction is that trails will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday. The trails just do not dry this time of year. So you need to either plan to ride at night when they are frozen, or please stay off. Lots of trail damage can be done by just a couple of riders. This may not apply to all areas, like The Farm, but I can say with confidence this will apply to CamRock.
In the meantime, temps are predicted of 67 for tomorrow, and 62 on Friday. So ride like heck whilst the riding is good!

Great post, Chuck, thanks for staying on top of things.  This is the first good freeze/thaw possibility, so the trails are especially susceptible to damage simply due to people adjusting to the seasonal conditions.  Basically, we're quickly getting to the point where the trails should only be ridden when frozen (often, just early AM), or when there's at least a few inches of snow cover.
