SRAM DM front derailleur with Problem Solvers mount for 170mm rear ends

SRAM X7 short cage rear mech

LX level 9 speed cassette

Chain

SRAM twisty shifters

This has worked well on a 170mm rear spaced frame.  It also will work on a 135mm offset frame like a Pugsley.  Cannot vouch for 190/197mm frames.

All you need is a 100mm ISIS BB (not included).
