Hey Mountain Biker,
We are just a few days away from our biggest event of the year, the Battle of CamRock, where we get to show off one of our excellent trail systems and raise money to keep improving all of them. There are nearly 1,000 racers and their families coming in. The weather looks good, and our volunteers have the trails in great shape. But we need your help: There are still a few volunteer positions that need to be filled. If you have a few hours this Sunday, please consider coming out and giving back to help the trails you love to ride all year long.
Some of the jobs that need filling:
Parking control: Let people know where to go, and where not to go.
Registration: Help racers check in and get their packets.
CORP Promotion Tent: Help spread the word about our system of trails and our efforts to improve them
Start Corral: Help direct racers so that they get off to a good start.
Finish Chute: Assist the timers to make sure all the results get recorded accurately.
None of these require any special skills, just enthusiasm and a willingness to help. Did we mention the free lunch and limited-edition t-shirt?
