Next Work Day - Saturday 10/27/18 from 9:00am-12:00pm

Now that the leaves are falling, we are looking to expand our trail system and add an east loop.  The attached layout scales to about 1 mile of additional trail.  Come join us for our “Phase 2” kickoff on Saturday 10/27/18 from 9:00am-12:00pm. 

We plan to have a machine rented and working prior to volunteers showing up.  We hope to get as much, if not all, of the flagged route constructed in one weekend.  We will need volunteers to help fine tune the machine built trail and to help clear brush ahead of the machine.  Please bring loppers or brush saws if you have them.  Otherwise, earthwork tools will be provided.  No experience necessary and kids are welcome to join!  BYO work gloves, water, and bug spray.

We will meet at the trail head near Hwy KP and Bourbon Road.  Please park on Bourbon Road.  If you arrive late, feel free to head up the hill and join the fun!

P.S.  The machine will be running all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  If you can’t make the workday and would like to lend a hand, please drop a message.
