Originally posted a similar thread on mtbr, but was recommended to post here as well. I'm newish to the world of MTB, and I don't have a lot of skills. Years spent as a diesel-type road racer does that, and the whole bike-body separation and the weight shifting are somewhat foreign to me.
Would like to work with someone through the late summer/early fall on things, including hops (slow and fast speed), sharp turns, etc. I know that there are upcoming skill sessions in September, but my reservation is that there may be quite a bit to process over just two days. I think something like three sessions over 2 month would probably make most sense for me.
Recommendations for local instructors welcomed.
Many thanks in advance!
