Bummed I had to miss it. I almost brought the boys by after the 4-H meeting but decided it was time to get the boys to bed.

Good thing I did. It was time to be a dad when I got home. Janet was still dealing with a migraine and Emory had a major ear infection coming on. It turned out to be a long night at the Hutchens' Haus

Glad to hear it was a good ride as always. One good thing this summer is that there has not been a single rain-out And the after ride is my favorite time of the week.

Looking forward to next weeks night ride as well. It is time to get the lights tuned up and ready for Pitch Black!

We were discussing this very topic at the PBST meeting last night. I think Collin was going to talk with Jeff about it.

It's been emailed and posted on FB, I think it's going to happen!

My light combo (LED action lights XM-L combo) should be here Friday, so a Monday night test is in order! 

Good times last night! Good to see new and familiar faces. I like the flexibility within the group that allows you to go as fast or slow as you want. No pressure, no expectations. Take off if you want, sweep if you want, it's all good!

So what are the tactics for the Night Ride. Will secret strategies for the race be revealed? Will secrets of the course be revealed? Better be there next Monday to find out!

Will the normal 6:00 ride occur this week then (with the after dark ride happening)?  I am just getting into mountain biking, and figure it would be good for me to ride with more skilled riders.  At any rate, if it is happening, I will try to get there this Monday.

Yeah, what is the dealio with the Monday ride??...I did not get an e-mail or see a FB post.

Jeff put up a FB post last week sometime. I believe it's 7:30p. Not sure if the 6p ride is still on.

Collin and I are heading out tomorrow, we plan to get there, gear up, turn the lights on and roll.  Collin will lead us on the race course, keep an eye out tonight, when its completely dark, that would be the start time. 

Supposed to rain tomorrow, so keep in touch!

Let's plan to roll from CamSport at 8pm,  that way the first lap will be mostly in the dark and the 2nd will be completely dark.

"This Monday August 12 (tomorrow) we are planning a night ride gathering at 7:30 and probably taking off around 8:00 with lights (at least partially) supplied by SERFAS. We will also ride at 6:00 as usual...more riding = good."
