An update from my perspective.
The trail school on Saturday morning was well attended. There was someone from Brazil there, possibly a student at the UW?, plus DeWayne B. and two other Trek employees. Bruce Lindsey was there, and Pat Remington from Blackhawk, plus many others. It was great to see people from a broad cross-section of the off-road community turn out to improve their skills and help with the work.
The trail build after lunch was well organized. I'm pleased with what was planned and accomplished. Pat and I cleared a corridor through the next chunk of woods, and there was an excellent start on cutting the new singletrack. The fall-line section of ski trail at the north end of the current loop was closed very thoroughly with piles of branches that will catch leaves and cut down on erosion.
Thanks especially to Nelson Donovan for doing the legwork to organize the events.
