in Group Rides, Bike Trips, and Events

Hey All,

Discover Wisconsin (a show on public TV if you didn't know) is doing a show on fitchburg and they are doing a segment on Quarry Ridge.

They have asked us to give their host a riding tour of the park, demonstrate some riding, and possibly demonstrate some building too. They need about 2 hours of our time on the 16th or 17th to film (during business hours I believe).

They also asked for a Fitchburg resident that is comfortable in front of a camera to do an interview on the park.

This is an amazing opportunity to get some publicity for CORP and Madison mountain biking.

Spread the word! I need to get back to her with a time and date by the 13th. Reply with what time and date work best for you. Thursday afternoon would work best for me. I'll probably be there either way, but we need more people. The more the better!

Ahhh!!! So many cool things are happening with CORP over the next 10 days and I won't be in Madison!!! Ahhhh!!!

Discover Wisconsin is not a P. B. S. program. It is shown locally on WKOW (ABC) Saturdays at 6:30 p.m.. In some markets it is broadcast on public access channels, or their local city government channels. It is also broadcast on Fox Sports Network statewide at 10 a.m. on Saturdays.

Tom.  I want to be a part of it someway or another.  Either riding, working, or the interview.

Is there a specific time frame they want to hit? 2:00 to 3:00, 3:00 to 4:00?

Sorry, I think it used to be on pbs when I was younger. They said they are flexible. Right now it sounds like the people interested are free at 3 on the 16th. Any objections?

OK everyone, the weather doesn't look good for tomorrow so we're moving filming to 3:00 on friday the 17th. The more the merrier!! Post here if you can make it.

Try to bring some tools too in case we do some trail building demonstrations, I think all the tools are taken for the workday at pleasant view.

Keep in mind the long planned TCC weekend and the social event at 4 on the 17th at Cam Rock Sport...

Ya, the only other option is saturday though and I have to be at that event. I'm kind of against a wall to get this filming done.
