Official Announcement - Fall Farm Fallout!!!!!! 11/10 3pm!!!!

    November 03, 2012, 10:36 PM

Riding season is fast ending and snow is approaching so let's hit it hard one more time before we are stuck in side warming toes by the fire and getting fat on good beer until BALLS 2013.

So, what's the plan and how do we clear out the cobwebs one last time?  A big ass group ride at The Farm!!!

    What:  Fall Farm Fallout

When: Saturday 11/10 3pm at Farmer Greg's place.

Where:  We'll meet at Farmer Greg's place (park on the road and ride your bike up to the back yard).  The ride and festivities start from there.  Don't know where Greg's place is?  Be at the Red Mouse in Pine Bluff at 2:45 and we'll show you the way to The Farm.

Who: Hopefully Freakin' everybody who doesn't have anything better to do!  It's an awesome trail and with an awesome host so let's ride together and show our appreciation.

The lowdown:  We gather at 3pm and start riding when everybody is ready. That should give time for a ride in daylight and even a night lap if you wish.  Greg has offered up his firepit for a post ride blowout.

I'm having the wife do up a big pot of chili for post ride nourishment.  All I need is somebody to throw in toppings (cheese, jalapenos, onions, etc.) any takers?  CORP should be providing some golden suds but we'll have to get approval for that!

    Who's in????????

    But wait!

What happens if you've never ridden The Farm before?  How about if you don't know where The Farm is?

Well color me pretty this is your chance!  Come out and see a great little trail close to Madison.

Everybody is invited and finding the trail is easy.  Just meet in front of the Red Mouse bar in Pine Bluff at 2:45pm and somebody will be there to lead the convoy to the goods......don't worry it isn't very far from there!

Is this ride limited to CORP members or open to anyone?

The Farm has always been a members only trail.  Are you an IMBA member?  That should cover you in this regard.  If not an IMBA/CORP member you do have plenty of time to join.  Only takes a few clicks of the mouse!

Just to be ultra clear, you mean to say this ride is open to all IMBA/CORP members, not "everybody" or "everybody who doesn't have anything better to do" as stated in your earlier posts?

Come one, come all! If you've never been, be sure to be at the Red Mouse in Pine Bluff at 2:45. Pine Bluff is at the intersection of Mineral Point Rd. and County Hwy P west of Madison.

I've got some beer.  It may or may not be enough.

    Probably about a case.

We have a Nesco Roaster. Holds 18 qts. That should do the job I would think.
