I would like to call you what I am thinking right now. But to keep this forum PG I will just say "wimp". I thought you were a tough nut from northern Minnesota. Guess you are as tough as the ViQueens that you love  ;)

Now that I am back in town, I plan to do some stompin' tomorrow between the Rose Bowl parade and the Game. Take a look and see how things are looking at the park.

Really I just needed an excuse to stick around home so I could evacuate for the game.

I was talkin' smart at midnight. It's 10 degrees in Rockdale right now. Lets see if I actually get motivated to work off the hangover?

I chose not to be a wimp today. Decided to go out and try riding the farm today. Since the big snowfall, I have managed to get out and snowshoe the south loop 7 times. Riding was a bit of a struggle and I spent a fair amount of time walking.
Where I snowshoed was firm but it was a narrow ribbon and I found myself constantly getting off to the side and bogging down in the loose stuff, especially around corners. Felt like I was trying to ride a skinny the whole time.
Guess it needs to be snowshoed a little more and widen out.

It did give me a chance to put some Xmas goodies to the test. I got a pair of shimano MW81 bike shoes and rei expedition socks, toes were fine. As others have said elsewhere here, PI amfib tights are awesome. Last saturday I got a chance to try out my moose mitts for the first time, I ended up removing my gloves and riding barehanded. Today i tried wearing my regular summer gloves inside the poogies. My right hand was fine, never got cold at all. My left hand was freezing, probably because I was always falling to the left and ending up sticking my hand into the snow. Must be a little unbalanced that I always fall that way  ;)
