That was interesting. White Tip, Cay Brew, and Iron Shore local brews would not meet our standards as favorite beers but that was more than compensated by the environment.

Sea breeze and sunset for Packer’s vs Bears game at the only raucous bar on the island while outnumbered by obnoxious Bears fans, Cubans, Jamaican women violating the modesty laws, add French, Germans and British wishing it was rugby.

We witnessed 5 of the 7 points for arrest or imprisonment on the sign at customs, and the French waitress suggested pina coladas for the kids to be sure they would sleep.

^ Anyone else waiting for pics of the Jamacian women from Williams post?
In the mean time. An interesting drink to finish the night off. A good desert drink.

The thought - less reserved use of the camera - was very tempting but scanning the whole scenario gave a strong feeling that it was it was MUCH wiser to go with the flow than interrupt it.

After a couple of hours on the CamRock trails snow biking. Now warming by the fire with Derek and Mike Repyak. Life is good.

An Iron Shore Bock on the iron that's on the iron shore. A much better impression of this beer this year.

We have not been able to figure out what kind of 4cyl that was or how it got where it is.

This beer may be over the top for many, but a little over the top seems appropriate for the nordic skiing completed earlier, dinner ahead (mother in law's home made pot stickers), and my wife's driving. This is filter with your teeth beer (note hop cone on bottle cap).

    :)

Big Wood Bad Axe. They call it an Imp IPA, but it's more of a DIPA. Damn good, though!

Enjoyed one of those Lupalin's last night myself. The post, post-ride beverage

This is not one of those stupid take-a-picture-of-your-meal photos. This is the first spotting of Maibock this season in the wild. And on tap no less. In a bar in Fennimore. A place called the Silent Woman. And it has a picture of a headless woman out front.....get it? An interesting night to be sure.
Oh yeah. Oh could cut the steak with a butter knife ;-) awesome!

Does the Founders brewery make anything that is not great?

The Red Rye IPA has nice aroma, taste, and feel on the tongue. Also very nice in terms of nice flavor without too much alcohol whether that is the taste or on the brain.

The bottle opener was my dad's and I've always had the understanding it's from the 1950s.
