Ya buddy! I have never ridden so fast for so far in my life and enjoyed it as much. I look forward to riding this with you chuckleheads again this year. :)

    In.
This year I aim to get closer to the border than last fall. Drafting at night on gravel, not knowing if a gopher hole was in the middle of the trail made for memorable ridding.

I made it 44 miles down, past Monroe and meet the main group as they were tossing back a few beers.

How far did you make it Alan? I remember riding with Jin and stopping and waiting for a really long time for the guys to pedal back. We ended up getting back on our bikes and almost hitting the border before ran in to the gang on their way back.

Bumpity bump, just three weeks away now. Any other CORPer's putting this on their schedule? There's nothing like the couple days of time distortion you get trying to recover from a night of romping around on a bike, great way to kick off a long weekend.

Damn, I had a blast at this race last year, but I'll be out of town this time. To anyone who is considering it: go. You will have fun no matter how fast you are/aren't.

Let out a good howl in the tunnel for me.

I am tentatively in for the "blase" group.

Well it's tough to track because of the loose registration process, but by the count of folks who have accepted the invite on facebook and send me rsvp's there are 40 about people 'signed up'.

One last bump.  Everything is a go and the weather is looking pretty good, should be a fun night/morning. Several cases of Ale Asylums Satisfaction Jacksin will be on hand.

Twas a fine night for a ride. It looked like maybe 50-60 riders were on hand, lots of smiles, almost all the beer was consumed, so I'd call it a success. I don't recall seeing many CORPers in attendance, Alan is the only one that jumps to mind right now but there was an even mix of veterans from last year and quite a few first timers.

The prior weekend I was driving through the night to get back from a week of riding in Colorado (should I do a ride report?) so I'm looking forward to a non sleep deprived weekend.

What a fun ride even though my light took a crap at the start of it.  I would like to thank Alan for letting me light-pool with him for much of the ride.
