I'd be down to help. My editing experience isn't the best but I have a canon t3i and I'm not bad with filming and I have lots of free time over the summer especially. I could do a lot of the filming and interviews with maybe some of my friends just to have a non-adults perspective. I was thinking about making some type of promo vid anyway, but if I could help with a bunch of people that'd be even better. I think it'd be cool to highlight the trails and different types of riding, I think that most people know about races, but showing pleasant view or some of the gnarlier stuff at qr would attract school age people. I think it would also be nice to show the vast range of skill levels at like group rides. When I first started doing group rides I was kind of scared that most everyone there would be elitist race pace riders, if we show that it's kind of a laid back casual fun time I think again we could attract a lot of interest.

Great points about showing the different aspects of CORP. If you want to show that the group rides are not for elitist singlet-wearing folks riding at race pace you could follow me around with a camera ;D I could even wear my Hawaiian shirt!

That's a good point about making the club look as accessible as possible.  Another angle on that is work day, I've heard some people fret about going to work days because they don't really understand what's involved, it would be nice to capture the laid back nature of the work days and show that anyone can show up and contribute.  Also showing how much progress can be made in a single day would be compelling video.

We just need the time to get going. I made efforts last season to capture work sessions, got a POV tool swinging session etc....

That reminds me, Patricia asked me where this video went:

Now that trails are opening up, let's get that AV club together for some discussion/filming/riding. I am free most evenings through the week and Sundays.

I vote for weekly or bi-weekly, evening meetups at QR, QP, or Middleton where we caneasily set up, session, and film.

I've got a DSLR, few lenses, and tripod.

Who has a mountable cam = GoPro?

I have high def GoPro, mounts (incl seatpost), bracket, and extensions.

SLR stuff is Canon (2 wireless flash, bunch of lenses incl STM lens for video).

Also shotgun mic, and different typs of tripods (video,  ball head, velcro mount, Joby).

Right now I have a lot of video from the past year and have been organizing royalty-free audio and audio with permission from publisher to use.
